2008 MARFC Promoter of the Year

On Saturday, January 17^th,2009 Vicki and I attended the Michigan Automobile Racing Fan Club (MARFC) awards banquet along with 4 of our 5 “2008” Champions. Rail Rokos, Jeff Cade, Dan Hersey and Josh Huthinson were honored with Champions Plaques along with other track Champions throughout the state.

At the MARFC Banquet there are three special awards that are kept secret from the recipients until they are given out at the banquet. They are the Fan of the year, Mechanic of the year and Promoter of the year.

WOW, was I ever surprised to hear my name announced as the 2008 MARFC Promoter of the year. The award is given to a track that not only exemplifies a great racing program, but also provides an exceptional experience for the race fan from the time they enter the gate until the final checkered flag flies. In my mind it is the dedication from each and every one of you on the Goin' Green Race Promotions staff that made this all possible and for that reason we can all hold our heads high and share in this most prestigious award. Thank you once again from the bottom of our hearts.
