Ed VanDuinen passes at age 60

Way Too Soon

I know that many of you out there in the racing community have known Ed much longer than Vicki and I. In the three short years that we we promoting at Cherry Speedway we got to know Ed and Carmen very well. He was such a caring individual, always ready with advice for us when we asked. His involvement in racing, the Michigan Modified Association and the Michigan Speedway Promoters Association was a huge benefit to all who were involved in racing.  His wisdom and foresight were sought after by many promoters throughout the state.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Carmen, the entire VanDuinen family and all those who were lucky enough to call Ed a friend.

God Speed good friend, someday we will all be joined again.
